CONTRACT – Graphic Designer – Charlotte Hornets (Charlotte, NC)
The Charlotte Hornets are seeking a CONTRACT Graphic Designer to support our advertising and design needs for Hornets Sports & Entertainment including design, development and presentation of internal and external advertising creative, partnership marketing creative, brand marketing creative, and sales campaigns.
Timing: Approximately 90 day contract; immediate start if selected
Relocation: not available
The qualified contractor will need to:
- be available to work Monday – Friday during regular business hours, as well as, be able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays
- be able to work within assigned timelines and produce materials that meet client’s needs
- have a BFA in Graphic Design or other comparable degree/experience
- have some knowledge of basketball (Hornets knowledge is a plus)
- have skills and abilities in the following areas:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Apple Keynote and/or Microsoft Powerpoint
- be advanced in using graphic design software in a MAC environment
- have working knowledge of print production and retouching process
- be able to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects simultaneously
